The hardest thing about cleaning is when and where to start. It is just any other task at home where procrastination will always win. I've searched the wires for some helpful tips on how to start, and presumably finish your cleaning task.
First thing should be putting all the things in their rightful place. Most of the time, when we are preparing food, we often do not place the ingredients or things back from where we got them.
Clean the sink with a hot, soapy water after you have cleaned all your dirty dishes. Use some all purpose cleaners and spray the surfaces of your countertop and stovetop. Don't be thrifty in spraying the all purpose cleaner.
Empty your refrigerator from food that are already expired and unedible anymore. Wipe down the shelves with a clean rag, purposely used for the fridge only, sprayed with all-purpose cleaner. Clean the surfaces of appliances vertically. Don't miss the handles when cleaning the appliances. Always use clean rags to avoid contamination. Clean the lower cabinet doors and drawers with clean rags dipped in warm, soapy solution.
Empty the trash bins and you can mop the floor now. Never dump your mop water on your sink, that's one sure way of contaminating it.
