Mint, which is known as Mentha in the scientific world, is a genus of plants in the Lamiaceae family. There are around thirteen (13) to eighteen (18) existing species in the world. Though many species exist, it is still unclear the difference between them and mostly hybrids occur between the different species.
Mint usually can be planted during autumn or spring. it is recommended that you plant them using four (4) to six (6) inches of root and twelve (12) inches apart. You can also place blocks in between the plants when one of them tries to encroach the area of the other.
We are all familiar with the refreshing effect of mint. But more than just the refreshing effect, there is more to the herb mint that it can offer.
